Springmount Services Foundation Day 2022

Celebrating 20 Years

 

On Friday August 18 2022, Springmount Services celebrated 20 years of excellence in service, with operations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and Singapore.

Martin Stack founded Springmount Services in August of 2002 in Beenleigh, Queensland.

Martin envisioned Springmount Services as a company that could carve out a sweet spot in the cleaning and facility services marketplace by marrying large companies’ structure, systems and resources with the customer service and care of smaller companies.

Martin founded Springmount Services with several core philosophies that continue to guide all business decisions and partnerships made by Springmount Services to this day.

Those core philosophies are sustainable and ethical business practices and environmentally-sustainable cleaning practices (read more here).

From the beginning, Martin has been dedicated to transparent business practices and has continued to have all of Springmount Services’ accounts audited annually to provide transparency to the results of Springmount Services and practices.

Springmount Services has grown exponentially but has retained a flat management structure to ensure that senior management is involved on a day-to-day basis, keeping their fingers on the pulse of what is happening on the frontlines of the services provided by Springmount Services and its people.

Springmount Services are committed to continued growth in fostering close relationships with clients so that we can flourish and succeed together.

Further, Springmount Services are committed to ethical practices in all business dealings with all stakeholders, including our employees, suppliers and sub-contractors.

I committed to providing the correct resources for them to do their job, to pay them on time and pay them correctly. From day one, this has been a very important value and will continue to be so. I wanted Springmount Services to be a place people could come, particularly new migrants, some of whom couldn’t speak English, and start their working life, and their new life in Australia, and that could be a launching pad for them to do whatever they wanted to do. Some will stay with us forever or for a very long time. Some will move on and that is fine too – they don’t have to stay with us forever. Part of the DNA of the company is to enable people to be able to do their best work. I wanted to give them a structure and a platform for people to be able to do that.”

The Last 12 Months

Springmount Services has achieved much over the last 12 months, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, labour shortages, high marketplace competitions, and high pressure on cost reduction from new and existing clients.  

We have continued to grow our national presence, with new partnerships in QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS and SA.  

We have achieved our growth targets and doubled our sales.  

We have introduced new integrated services in security, customer service, maintenance.  

We have undergone major systems upgrades.  

We have introduced new people and structure to the company with expertise.  

We have retained our existing business partnerships.  

We have increased our additional sales and profits.  

We have led the market in development and innovation.  

We have continued to meet all relevant compliance and governance standards.  

All of these successes and milestones are thanks to you our valued employees, you make Springmount Services what it is and we are so appreciative and grateful for your continued support and involvement.
